I am currently registered to complete the Global Competency Leadership certificate, and have been accepted based on my experience and knowledge, developed through international travel and education. Through studying language, culture, and completing coursework focused on socio-economic privilege, I have been able to establish a perspective that is not limited to themes that I grew up immersed in. I have been fortunate to have completed post-secondary education in both Oklahoma, U.S.A. and Vienna, Austria. I have travelled throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa, a guest in over 20 countries. I have explored historical, natural, and anthropogenic marvels, tasted exotic food and drink, appreciated the beauty of music in many languages, and enjoyed cultural festivities and events of many cultures. My appreciation of diversity has grown through my many wonderful international experiences that I have been so privileged to share in. My life has been greatly enriched by my international and intercultural experiences, and I am fortunate to be in a position where I can encourage others to also expand their horizons and see how rich the world is through meaningful experiences beyond our comfortable borders.
